What is ‘Pixel Glow’? The one design change rumoured for Google’s Pixel 11

Leaks suggest Google's Pixel 11 lineup will look largely familiar, apart from one new feature: a rumoured 'Pixel Glow' physical notification indicator.

Leaked rumours suggest the physical silhouettes of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 devices will remain largely identical to previous generations, with one notable exception: a rumoured ‘Pixel Glow’ physical notification indicator.

Google is set to unveil the Pixel 11 series on August 12, expected to include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Since the hardware remains familiar, Google may bring a bunch of other software engineering and Gemini AI features to the lineup.

A separate leak, first reported by French deals website Dealabs, claims the Pixel 11 lineup may launch without a 128GB storage option, with all models instead starting at 256GB — a major change from previous generations. The leak also suggests European prices could rise by around €100 on some models, with the standard Pixel 11 starting at €999 and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold at €1,999.

Analysts have noted that rising global tech component costs will impact the phones’ final retail prices and baseline specifications, alongside whatever new software features Google unveils.
