Samsung sweetens Galaxy foldable pre-orders with Rs 2,799 in launch benefits

Samsung is offering Rs 2,799 worth of benefits to Indian customers who pre-reserve its next Galaxy foldable smartphones ahead of a global launch on July 22. The pre-reservation itself requires only a refundable token of Rs 999, meaning customers can back out without any financial loss.

The offer applies to Samsung’s next generation of foldables, which the company has not officially named but which are rumoured to include the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Reservations are open via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon India, Flipkart and leading retail stores nationwide.

Samsung has not disclosed specifications for the new devices but says they will combine AI with new foldable designs for more personalised and adaptive experiences, continuing a trend of making its foldables thinner, lighter and stronger with each generation.

The announcement comes ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 in London, which will stream live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and YouTube from 6:30 pm IST, and is also expected to bring the Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Samsung’s Android XR smart glasses.
